Khayyam Intl. Exhibition of Photography to open on Friday

TEHRAN – The 6th edition of the Khayyam International Exhibition of Photography will open at the Iranian Academy of Arts in Tehran on Friday.

Winners will be honored during the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Focus Photo Club, Iran’s branch of International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), announced in a press release on Monday.

The exhibition will showcase dozens of photos selected from over 13,000 submissions from 50 countries.

Moreover, a workshop on selecting and judging photos during international events will be held by Riccardo Busi, the president of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), his assistant Freddy Van Gilbergen and the president of the Focus Photo Club Ali Samei on the sidelines of the exhibit.

Organized by the Focus Photo Club in collaboration with the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and FIAP, the exhibition will run until January 17.
