Zanganeh leaves Tehran for Vienna to participate in OPEC meeting

TEHRAN- Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh left Tehran for Vienna on Wednesday afternoon to take part in the 175th Ordinary Meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Shana news agency reported.

OPEC meets on Thursday in Vienna, followed by talks with allies such as Russia on Friday, amid a drop in crude prices caused by global economic weakness and fears of an oil glut due largely to a rise in U. S. production, Reuters reported.
