TEHRAN – Iran volleyball team defeated Slovenia 3-1 (34-32, 25-23, 25-23, 24-26) and Germany 3-2 (25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-12) in two friendly matches.
The friendlies were held as part of preparation for the 2025 FIVB World Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Iran are drawn in Pool A along with Egypt, Tunisia, and the Philippines.
Team Melli will start the campaign with a match against Egypt on Sept. 14.
The competition will be held in Pasay, the Philippines from Sept. 12 to 28.
