Iran to unveil AI-enhanced cruise missiles with over 1,000 km range

Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, revealed that Iran has successfully developed cruise missiles with ranges exceeding 1,000 km, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) to improve their precision and operational effectiveness.

Speaking at an event commemorating the anniversary of Operation Valfajr-8, Tangsiri emphasized the full military readiness of Iran’s naval forces and warned adversaries against any threats to the country’s territorial waters.

Iran’s Navy and IRGC forces stand together, ensuring that no foreign power can encroach upon our waters, he declared.

Highlighting Iran’s advanced missiles, drones, vessels, and submarines, Tangsiri stated that Iran’s military advancements have continued despite sanctions, fostering self-sufficiency and indigenous innovation.
