Potts/Pearse defeated Nicolaidis/Carracher in an all-Australian final of the men’s division, while China’s J. Wang/X. Y. Xia beat its compatriot Xue/J. J. Zeng to win the women’s division gold medal. Australia earned bronze, beating Japan.
The competition was hosted by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation.
